Love on the Rocks

Tuesday, September 30th, 2008

TJ and I went to the West Coast this summer—what a trip! We do the beach thing every year if we can, and try to find a different place where a lot of gay men go. We have a very committed and also open relationship, so over the years we have managed to have us some real adventures.

This time we were California-bound. We love San Francisco. Even though it’s not as warm as some of the other places we like, you can’t beat the culture. The ocean is so different there, too, with some interesting, rocky shoreline. Actually, that’s what turned out to be real interesting. Not too far out from the city, we found a spot that was really cool for gay men to get off. In a lot of places, it’s a real cum ‘n’ go kind of atmosphere. For whatever reason, though, there’s a little area where men can hide out among the rocks and not be bothered. People were breaking out the lubricants and the gay sex toys—really taking their time. We always bring a few favorite sex toys when we travel, so once we found this spot, we came back the next two days, found ourselves some buddies, and had a grand old time.

Of course that wasn’t the only thing. The food was phenomenal all week, we went to a couple shows, and we love to hike around the giant redwoods. But ah… those lubed-up boys among the rocks to put our vacation over the top… how romantic. ;-)

Lube Q&A

Tuesday, September 30th, 2008

Q: I am a gay man, relatively new to anal sex. The one thing I have learned is that if I am going to be penetrated, a lot of lube is seriously important. Does anyone out there have a sense of which are best, or even what kinds are out there? Thanks for any info.

A: There are a lot of lubricants to choose from. One primary factor is that you want to choose one that is condom-safe. That means, always look for one that is labeled “water-based,” “safe for use with condoms,” or something similar. Since you are new to this particular game, you may be interested in desensitizing as well as lubricating—remember that the popular Anal Eze is NOT condom-safe. Try Pjur’s ANALyze Me Relaxer Spray and add a lubricant that works best for you. You will have to find out what kind of feel you like – Doc’s and Astroglide make some good ones. If you want taste as well as feel, there’s always Fruity Booty. Hope this helps. Here’s to good lovin’!

A Gay Man’s G-Spot

Tuesday, September 30th, 2008

I don’t know about you guys, but I am a serious anal boy. Now I know that there’s a lot of anal sex going on in gay men’s culture, but sometimes I question how much some guys know about the true glory of the prostate. It’s in there, just waiting to be discovered and probed to take you to the outer limits of pleasure.

I used to try sticking things up there-ever since I was a little kid-and it always felt kinda good, but it took my current boyfriend Tony to really show me the depths of myself. He came with an assortment of sex toys, and we’ve bought many more since we’ve been together.

We will spend all evening probing one or the other of us—one to direct and the other to go on an earth-shattering ride. The last time he did it to me, he started out by stretching me with our anal beads, every minute or so, pushing another larger bit into my opening asshole. When he pulled that out it was amazing enough, but when it was followed by one of our medium butt plugs, it started to drive me wild. He teased me then, just touching my nipples and probing unpredictably. It felt like he built up the pressure inside me—with intuitive precision— for hours. Finally, he hit me with the anal vibrator while he greased up his hand and jacked me off to an unbelievable finish.

I love the man. I love the man’s sex toys. I’m his forever! ;-)

A Great Gloryhole Guy

Tuesday, September 30th, 2008

Had a HOT experience last night. There’s a bookstore about 3 blocks from me where a lot of gay men hook up that is just way too tempting. On my way home from work, I just seem to find myself in there. A LOT. Saw an obviously gay guy cruising around inside – he looked around at the anal toys, then he stopped to page through a tranny mag. Those are my favorites, and he had the kind of thin, sculptured body and nice bulge I love so I was turned on immediately. I managed to catch his eye and he smiled quickly. Got so hot when I saw him head for the back where the booths are.

Didn’t take me long to follow him, and just when I got back there, I saw where he went. I stood in the booth next to him. I know he didn’t waste any time, but for some reason, the anticipation was so intense. There was just something about this guy. Man, the sight of his hard cock emerging from the gloryhole was fuckin’ awesome. He was hung long and slim. The thick black cock ring around the base of his dick really got me going. I was on my knees in no time, all of him buried in my mouth. I don’t think I’ll ever forget the feeling of that cock ring hitting against my lips, again and again. That one will be good fantasy material for a long time.

Private J/O Club

Tuesday, September 30th, 2008

Q: Hi all— I told a bunch of the guys I hang with that I plan on organizing my own J/O events this year. I have some sense of what to do based on a party I used to go to back East called Philly Jacks, but does anyone here have any direct experience or a better idea of how I can get the party started?

A: Yeah, we need a good jackoff party around here- you go! Just get a bunch of us gay men together and we’ll know what to do! Seriously though, I do have a few thoughts. First, decide how many people you are willing and able to invite. I have hosted anywhere from 4 to 35, depending on my living space at the time. If this will be in your private home, think about inviting only your buddies and those who can be vouched for (I hope I make the cut!) If you charge a small fee, it will make it practical to have a few “perks” around like lubricant, magazines, towels, even a few cock rings, etc. You may provide drinks or make it BYOB. Remember that you make the rules, so if it’s strictly about J/O, make sure the guys know that there’s no penetration or “lips below the hips,” if that’s the safety protocol you want at your party. Other than that, pop in your favorite gay video, unzip, and get crankin’.

Lubricant for Gay Men

Tuesday, September 30th, 2008

Recent studies have shown that standard condoms are just as safe for anal sex as they are for heterosexual vaginal sex. The key to making condoms, whether they are standard strength or specifically for anal sex, as safe as possible and keeping them from breaking is using lots of lubricant to reduce friction. The two biggest issues with using lubricant for anal sex is making sure you use enough lube and making sure you use the right kind.

Oil based anal lubricants, or lube alternatives like massage oil, lotion, and hand creams, can actually damage a latex condom. A damaged condom is much more likely to fail you when you need it the most. You can use oil based lubes if you use non-latex condoms.

Silicone and water based lubes are a must if you use latex condoms. But keep in mind that if you are also using silicone gay sex toys you can ruin them by using silicone based lubricant. Water based lubricants will work with all condoms and all gay sex toys but it will need to be reapplied often as it can dry up.

New and OUT

Tuesday, September 30th, 2008

I am leaving this week for my first trip ever to a Gay resort in the Caribbean. I am newly out and am looking forward to the trip with both enthusiasm, and trepidation. I don’t know if I’m being silly doing this, but when I start something, or take on a new interest; I FULLY immerse myself in it. For instance, I decided to try golfing and before I hit ball one at the practice range, I bought the whole golf outfit and all the accoutrements, gloves, hat, shoes and FULL set of not so inexpensive clubs, only to find out after a LONG afternoon of walking across a giant lawn from hole to hole, that I can’t STAND golfing. Well, I am nothing if not consistent in my habits, and as SOON as I went on-line and booked my reservations, I came over here and began filling my shopping cart with everything I imagine I could need or want for a week long “loosening up” vacation. I mean I got Jo Lubricant and Eros Anal, both Gel and regular silicone, I picked out anal beads and plugs, I’ve got cock rings in there and a whole closet’s worth of fetish wear. I even went ahead and got a male strap on in case… though, I don’t know what the hell I’d do with it? I am going to see what they have to say on the Resorts boards about what I should bring for standard fare (clothes, sunscreen etc), but I thought I might find some more boudoir specific advice here on Tabu. Thank you in advance my new friends-

To Market

Tuesday, September 30th, 2008

So we’re in the showroom again, NYC. Every year we do a room for fashion week, my partner and I. And every year we try and top the year before both design wise and in our sexual exploits. This year we happened to be doing the showroom of a Japanese designer with a bit of a bondage edge to her work. I like the work but it feels too nineties to be of any fashion significance; however it lends itself PERFECTLY as a setting to get our freak on. “T” spent over $300 of our budget this year on TabuToys.com, I don’t know how we’re going to bill the designer for this, but we’ll work it in there somehow.

He bought all sorts of good stuff, lubricant and anal vibrators; he got us cock rings, and butt plugs in every conceivable size. This afternoon we finished hanging the last piece of drapery in the showroom and tonight we’ve invited a couple we play with quite often to come by so we can put our little stamp of approval on the place. We are going to have a little fashion week gay orgy like no-one’s ever seen before! There will be pictures taken of course, so if anyone would REALLY like to see them they can find me on here in the members section, I’m sure. Other than the pictures though, after tonight’s Gay Men Only Fuck Fest (GMOFF), the showroom will return to normal and the little Japanese designer girl will be none the wiser. It is feels so good, to be soooo bad!

Dean and Delicious

Tuesday, September 30th, 2008

I saw him for the first time two years ago in Dean and Deluca, with a coffee in his hand picking out the perfect cut of Ahi steak to sear with a little rice wine and some soy sauce. I knew this because I was behind him in line and was under an enchantment that allowed me to hear nothing but the sound of his voice. He was having a small dinner party for friends from the gallery he had shown in the month before. As I overheard it, he wanted to be sure that he had the finest cut, however cost was a concern as he had set himself a strict budget, but budget be damned he would make sure no-one would be left without a reasonable portion on their plate. This was the kind of man I wanted to know. So I made an attempt to attract his attention…Missed…then another… ignored (I believe). So I went home, and did what any self respecting Gay man would do, I turned on some porn, slipped my favorite vibrating plug into my ass and fellated a lifelike dildo while stroking my cock and imaging it was my mystery man. The next day I went back to D&D and didn’t leave until he showed up for coffee. I bought his coffee. That was two years ago, and so tonight as I am on line shopping for lubricant, I am doing so with my mystery shopper sleeping at my side. FYI- His cock is SO much nicer than the dildo. I know he’ll find this post, so Hello Honey, and Happy Anniversary-

Gay sex toys and condoms

Tuesday, September 30th, 2008

Everyone knows that using condoms when you have sex can save your life, but have you ever considered using condoms with your sex toys? Using condoms on your gay sex toys have the same benefits as using condoms for sex- namely it can keep you infection free. If you share your gay sex toys with a partner, or pass them among more than one partner, you are taking some of the same risks associated with unprotected sex. A disease from one partner can easily be spread among several.

Condoms have the added benefit of making cleanup of gay sex toys easier, which can expand the life of your toys. The cost of condoms is a small investment when you consider how much longer your pricey gay sex toys will last.

You put a condom on a gay sex toy the same way you put a condom on yourself or your partner. Pinch the top of the condom to keep air from pooling there and roll is down around your pay sex toy. Always use a new one when you switch your gay sex toys from one person to another. Because you tend to use gay sex toys in a rougher way than you would your own body you may want to get heavier duty condoms for sex toy play.
